Many of you know how passionate I am about getting outdoors and how important it is for our physical and mental health. Now that we are limited to just one trip outside, it is essential to make sure we maximise this time in the best way possible. I have come up with a plan to help us get out for a run three times a week and have some different options for beginners and intermediates.
Every Monday at 8 am, I will be releasing the next stage of the programme for you to follow for the week. Tag me in your posts and remember to use the #SallyGunnellsRunClub so we can get a real sense of community going and I can see how you are all getting on.
As a general bit of advice; please do not push yourself too hard! It is important to be intuitive when starting a new programme. Running is designed to get your heart rate up and make you feel a little out of breath, but it should not hurt, and it should not feel like you are pushing yourself to the limit.
