Sally tries out Brighton’s International Festival of Sport

Late June saw a weekend of sporting fun in Brighton’s Preston Park, as local people came to have a go at a wide range of sports and activities under the banner of Takepart, a City Council initiative.  “It was amazing,” declared Sally.  “They had everything from jive to cricket.  The idea was to show people that there are so many different ways of getting exercise and all of them are good fun.  I loved watching the kids having a crack at the drumming with Stomp.  Noisy but wonderful!”
